Noontime Knowledge: Using LinkedIn for Career Growth

Presenter:  Paul Miller joined Central Penn College in 2013 as a part time teacher.  He quickly advanced to a full time instructor, then Program Coordinator for the Communication Department. He is responsible for starting the Knights News Media Club, the Knightly New Podcast, and produces a quarterly publication of students reporting.  Most recently, the Knightly News Media Club began streaming Central Penn Knights Athletics, broadcasting a series of live baseball, basketball, and soccer games.

In his spare time, he works with dozens of businesses helping them develop a plan for their content on social media. Paul received his undergrad at Slippery Rock University and his Master’s at Shippensburg University.

Some of his awards include Faculty Member of the Quarter and Club Adviser of the Year.

Topic:  Appealing particularly to those exploring career growth. This learning event will be helpful to folks in all stages of their careers. You will learn to strengthen your professional online brand, create new professional relationships, and why being active on LinkedIn is a difference maker. He will also share real success stories, the do’s and don’ts, and how to create your best LinkedIn page.
