May 14, 2013 Students receive "You can. You will." awards

Three students received "You can. You will." awards, presented by Provost Janice Moore at Central Penn College's 131st annual Commencement ceremony May 3.

Legal studies bachelor's degree student Quinn Wetherall (right) of Lakewood, was president of the Student Government Association, a member of the the college's running club and a member of the Central Penn Knights men's basketball team. He was honored as a 2011-2012 USCAA Division II Academic All-American. Wetherall has been accepted to four law schools and will attend St. John's University.

Corporate communications bachelor's degree student Kelsey Berkheimer of New Columbia, was an advising center work study; continuing education office part-time worker; Campus Christian Ministries club member; Public Relations club member; a peer mentor and an Australia Cultural Immersion program participant. Berkheimer is currently interning at WGRC-FM and has received another job offer.

Accounting bachelor's degree student Kendra Eckman, of Mount Joy, was acknowledged on the Dean's list, this Central Penn Lancaster student was recognized for her educational focus, specifically for how she manages and balances life events to achieve her academic goals.
