Morning Keynote Speaker:  Keely Childers Heany - To Succeed, You Must First Fail

Keely Childers Heany, editor-in-chief of Susquehanna Style magazine, has had a career ranging from public relations and advertising, event planning and teaching, managing a media brand and company, to owning and operating her own B&B and events venue, Pineapple Manor in Lancaster County. In a real and raw personal account of failures that ultimately led to success, she’ll share ways you can incorporate life lessons collected throughout a varied career, as well as the struggles of being a working mom — and how to “achieve" the illusive work-life balance to live your best version of yourself.

Anne Deeter Gallaher: Finding Your Voice and Thinking Bigger in 2018

This is the year of women in business! To reach the C-suite, or the board seat, or to aspire to leadership, we need to set high gear goals and create a network of advocates to help us reach them. It is said, "Whoever tells the story writes history." If that's the case, then only a handful of people--mostly men--are sharing their ideas and opinions and leading change. Thinking bigger requires us to bring our ideas to the table, to communicate them with influencers and the media, to be the difference maker, and to seize opportunities. "Chance favors the prepared mind." Anne will share insights and experiences on how to find your voice and reach new high gears in 2018.

Rebecca Korn: The Power of Vulnerability and Authenticity

The moment you release fear and shame, energy flows and confidence follows. Being fearless in your pursuit of an abundant life begins with a change in your relationship with yourself. Using some principles I’ve learned from my time with Tony Robbins along with my life lessons, this session is built to empower you in a world of seemingly constant inauthentic jabs; from social media to our day to day expectations. This is the first step to letting go of the person you think you should be and embracing who you truly are.

Maria Thiaw: The Art of the Shameless Plug: How to self-promote effectively

Let’s face it. We are in the era of self-promotion, but how much is too much? How do you get past your own insecurities and let people know about all you have to offer? How can promoting yourself through social media, advertising or other ways can bring you positive feedback, attract new clients and garner future opportunities for you? Attend this session with communication professor and independent artist Maria James-Thiaw to find out.

Cathy Hirko: Why her story matters

What I learned through my interviews with women business leaders in the mid-state.

Lynn Massaroni: Changing Your World by Changing Your Clothes

After extensive research in the psychology of fashion, insights will be shared about fascinating study of what your clothes say about you to the world and more importantly what they say to you… ABOUT YOU, empowering and branding through dress and the social and economic implications of fashion.

Sylvia Hepler : A Path to Personal Power

How would you feel if you consciously stepped into your personal power and fully claimed it?  In what ways would your life be different?  Most women leak power in five main areas, keeping them secretly stuck in doubt, frustration, and fear.  In this highly interactive presentation -Hepler reveals a powerful path for plugging those leaks in order that you may rise, shine, and honor who you REALLY are.
