Central Penn College's 10th President

Meet Linda Fedrizzi-Williams, Ed.D., Central Penn College’s 10thpresident. Throughout Dr. Fedrizzi-Williams’ 13 years of higher education experience, she has demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence, progressive administration-faculty partnerships and positive student outcomes. In her former role as provost, Fedrizzi-Williams provided leadership for all operations at the college and oversaw a $19 million budget. She managed all instruction and student support, including program development, personnel decisions, budget and resource allocation, strategic planning, and assessment for Academic Affairs and Student Services.

Dr. Fedrizzi-Williams has been an integral part of Central Penn College for the past two years, and her vision, her inclusive leadership style, and her sure-handed grasp of the challenges that the college faces in the immediate and long-term future all led to the board’s unanimous selection.

Dr. Fedrizzi-Williams officially begins her duties as Central Penn College president on June 18, 2018.

Biography

Linda Fedrizzi-Williams, Ed. D., is the 10th president of Central Penn College. Prior to her appointment on June 18, 2018, she served as Interim Co-President for nine months, and Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost since July, 2016. Since joining the Central Penn family, Dr. Fedrizzi-Williams’ focus has been on improving the Student Learning Experience both inside and outside of the classroom; supporting students both academically and personally is a top priority for her. Over the past year, she has revised the Mission, Vision, and Values for the College, developed a Strategic Plan, and added additional student and faculty support including a Centralized Advising Center, a Center for Teaching Excellence, and the Learning Center. Under her leadership, the College has seen a 9% increase in student retention in one year’s time.

Dr. Fedrizzi-Williams has a Doctorate of Education from Benedictine University, a Master of Arts in Organizational Communication from Marist College, a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (TV/Radio/Film) from Marist College, and an Associate of Arts from SUNY Orange.

Prior to her position at Central Penn, Dr. Fedrizzi-Williams served as Associate Vice President for Liberal Arts at SUNY Orange in Middletown NY where she secured funding for a new, state-of-the-art television studio for the Arts & Communication Department, developed a New Media Program, created seven new courses, and worked with a team on Title III Grant funding to provide targeted messages for at risk student populations. She also served as an Associate Professor of Communication during her time at the school.

Prior to working in higher education, Dr. Fedrizzi-Williams was the executive producer and morning show co-host on a popular radio station in the Hudson Valley region of NY.
