As part of Homecoming Weekend 2017, Central Penn's first alumni awards night will recognize our alumni heroes who demonstrate their "superpowers" by making significant achievements in business, community, philanthropy, volunteerism and athletics. The event features a live jazz band, heavy hors d'oeuvres, wine and beer bar, and awards presentation. The talented Matt Lines will also provide a mind-reading performance, deducing what people are thinking by carefully observing, and sometimes controlling, their behavior!

All event proceeds will benefit the Central Penn College Education Foundation and Central Penn Alumni Association, helping provide scholarships to deserving students and supporting alumni association initiatives. Admission: $25 (bundle package prices available for those who also attend the Oct. 21 Alumni Feast 'n' Brews Reunion Tent). Hotel block reservations: Best Western Plus, Enola (717) 635-2523. Rules & Judging Criteria

Nominations close at noon on Friday, September 1, 2017. The awards process takes place in September and all nominators and nominees, including finalists, are contacted by phone or email mid-September. The winners will be announced at the Standing Ovation: Alumni Awards Night being held Homecoming Weekend on Friday, October 20 at The Conference Center at Central Penn College.

Alumni, students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to submit nominations for Central Penn College graduates; personal nominations are accepted and encouraged. You may submit a nominee in as many categories as appropriate through multiple form submissions.

We highly recommend that you let the graduate know that you nominated them for a prestigious award, and encourage you to plan to attend the awards night together. The award recipient must be present to win the award or available to participate via live video/Skype.

A panel of judges comprised of Alumni Council members, and Central Penn faculty and staff will evaluate the nominee submissions.

Posthumous nominations will not be accepted.
