Meet Our Team

Steve Hassinger
Director of Career Services


Mr. Hassinger earned his B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Penn State University and his M.Ed. in Student Affairs from Regent University.  He has over 23 years of career development experience and has been the Career Services Director at Central Penn College since October 2002.Mr. Hassinger is a member of NACE (National Association of Colleges & Employers), PennACE (PA Association of Colleges & Employers), and CPEC (Central Pennsylvania Employment Consortium).

Rubina Azizdin
Associate Director of Career Services, Designated School Official.


Rubina has a B.S. from Elizabethtown College in Health and Occupation and a M.S. from Capella University in Human Services and Counseling. She is presently working on her doctoral degree at Capella University. She also holds many mental health certifications from Cornell University. She has over 15 years of experience in higher education and mental health. Rubina was awarded the Shining Star Luminary Award through the West Shore Chamber of Commerce, named a Woman of Excellence through the YWCA of Harrisburg, and also was awarded the Ella Frazier award through the YWCA of Harrisburg. Azizdin was named a Woman of Influence through the Central Penn Business Journal, and was a 2018 Global Torch Award recipient through the World Affairs Council of Harrisburg. She also was awarded the Staff of Quarter at Central Penn College in 2016. She also has been featured in the Susquehanna Style Magazine, Central Penn Business Journal in the Women in Leadership section and was recently featured on CBS21 News in the Women at Work Segment.

Rubina also is very actively involved in the local community. She is a member of WeCAN ( Women’s Capital Area Networking), ABWA(American Business Women’s Association), Harrisburg Young Professionals, West Shore Young Professionals, The World Affairs Council of Harrisburg and Junior Achievement of South Central PA. She has served on many boards of nonprofit organizations in the area and is also the founder of her own networking group, R.E.A.L. Women’s Alliance. Rubina is the proud mother of 3 beautiful children, and is happily married to Arfaat Azizdin who is a Central Penn College PTA Alum.

Kristin Fike
Internship Coordinator 


Kristin has been an Internship Coordinator at Central Penn College since January 2016.  Prior to serving in this role, she was a Continuing Education Admissions Counselor for the College. She has eleven years of experience in post-secondary education, primarily in the areas of Career and Student Services.  In 2008 she earned a Master’s in Business Administration Degree.  She is a fellow Central Penn College graduate from our Business Administration-Marketing Bachelor Degree program, in 2007!  Kristin is a Co-Advisor of Central Penn’s Colleges Against Cancer Club and the Partners Against Cancer Chair for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Harrisburg.  In October 2017, she was named Central Penn’s Staff Member of the Quarter.  She enjoys working with our students and employer partners in the community.  Kristin assists our students throughout the internship process from completing applications to completing their academic requirements. She hosts employer workshops on campus throughout the year to highlight internship opportunities as well as an Internship Fair during the Summer term.  When she’s not helping students and meeting with employers, you can find her joining in the Pilates and Zumba classes on campus!  Kristin lives in Liverpool, PA with her husband, two sons and Aussie Shepard dog.
