Central Penn College Gives Back!
Each term, Central Penn College sponsors a campus-wide community service day. Students, Faculty and Staff are encouraged to attend and give back to their community. Projects can range in scope from manual labor to serving meals or volunteering for a special event. Service locations vary across all three of the Central Penn locations in Summerdale, Lancaster and the Lehigh Valley.

Up Farm Playground Build
October 31, 2011
Mt. Wolf, PA
On Halloween day Central Penn students, faculty and staff volunteered their time at Leg Up Farm, a therapy center dedicated to improving the lives of children with special needs and their families through an effective combination of therapeutic programs and services, education and advocacy. Participants assisted with their community build project and played a vital role in the organizations goal: building a brand new playground, from scratch, in one week. Central Penn organized volunteers for the first day of the build, and when a photo of the completed project was shared with the participants, they couldn't believe their eyes! Check out the photos below!
Central Penn College in the Community
