Occupational Therapy Assistant
Central Penn College's Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree program is the only OTA program in the central Pennsylvania area. Central Penn's program prides itself on hands-on learning experiences and personalized, career-focused support. Offered during the day at our Summerdale campus, this program enrolls students for the spring and fall terms.
Students must be creative and think outside of the box to help someone live with a new challenge they may be facing. Once graduates pass their exam and state licensure requirements, if applicable, they will be able to practice as Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to help people achieve independence and learn to live productive lives through the use of meaningful activities and life roles.
We encourage you to visit us for our upcoming OTA Visit Day. Applications are evaluated, and applicants are accepted, on a first-come, first-served basis. See below for additional admissions requirements.

It Takes Occupational Therapy
This broadly focused presentation opened The American Occupational Therapy Association's (AOTA's) 2003 Annual Conference & Expo to tremendous applause. It serves as a wonderful overview of what Occupational Therapy Assistants do on a day-to-day basis.
