Instructor, Criminal Justice Administration

What would you say is the most rewarding thing about teaching "You can. You will." students at Central Penn?

I enjoy the small class size that allows me to know all of my students. I am able to tailor my teaching their to their interests, which enriches their learning experience.

What is your favorite Central Penn memory?

I have been teaching at Central Penn College for a year. During that period I taught a class in terrorism. The class was discussing John Brown and Brown's raid on Harpers Ferry. A student commented that he had been unaware of the scope and sacrifices made by the abolisionists. I was impressed that through my teaching I could open up to a student a world he had not known.

What do students like the most about the courses you teach?

It is my opinion that students enjoy the fact that I bring practitioner experience to the material being taught. The students seem to enjoy discussing or role playing real life scenarios, and exploring alternate outcomes.
