Dr. Lori Eberly
Professor, Physical Therapist Assistant

What is your favorite Central Penn memory?

Our opening of the new PTA lab at the Lancaster Center was a very special night. We celebrated with potential students, accepted students, staff and faculty. The night was special because it signified the official beginning of our new program.

What is the biggest challenge facing students going into the field of Physical Therapist Assistant? How can students prepare to face this challenge?

The biggest challenge facing students in the physical therapy field is the increase in responsibilities and time management concerns. The clinics are working with fewer clinicians due to changes in the reimbursement models.

What would you say to a prospective "You can. You will." student considering Central Penn College?

The PTA program at the Lancaster Center is unique. Many of our students are able to continue to work full time with the 50% online and 50% on-ground format. The ability to manage time appropriately is extremely important.
