Teaching Philosophy

I believe that learning is an active process. One learns by doing as well as through repetition, which comes in different forms and is key for long-term utilization of information. Personal associations and connections must be made within the current level of understanding. The information must be useful and understandable. Some of the greatest opportunities for learning occur during discussions and group interaction, both whole and small. Variability in the way information is presented is key and crucial to the overall learning experience.
