Central Penn College - Lynn E. Shuster

Faculty Who Care

Lynn Shuster
Assoc. Professor, Accounting

While teaching at Central Penn, what has been your biggest personal accomplishment?

A current student, who told me she and her father had taken Accounting II from me, told me her Mother was going to take the class this term but when she found out I was not teaching it, decided to take it in the fall when I would be teaching it again.

What makes Central Penn different from other colleges?

The small class size and the faculty who get to know their students.

What would you say to a prospective "You Can. You Will." student considering Central Penn College?

I would tell prospective students to visit our campus, sit in on classes and talk to current students and faculty. That is a really great way to decide if Central Penn is the right "fit" for you, personally. It is my hope that you will love it here as much as I do!

Anything else you would like to add?

This is the only job I have ever loved!
