Central Penn's small size makes it possible for everyone to participate in student clubs. Students find that getting involved helps to develop leadership skills and it looks great on a resume. With the various clubs Central Penn offers, students are sure to find something that will suit their interest. Don't see the club you were hoping for? Interested students can form their own club though the Student Government Association's approval process.
Alpha Phi Sigma (National Criminal Justice Honor Society)
Alpha Phi Sigma is a National Criminal Justice Honor Society which recognizes academic excellence of undergraduates, graduates and law students. The Central Penn College chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma is named Epsilon Epsilon. Students involved are the brightest and best Criminal Justice and Homeland Security students in the college.

Campus Christian Ministries
Campus Christian Ministries (CCM) is a nondenominational group that meets weekly. Our goals are to apply Biblical principles in today's world, to encourage and support one another in Christian living, and to socially interact with one another. CCM is a partnership between Central Penn College and River of God Church in Enola. Transportation is provided to the church for weekly services, young adult small group discussions, and special events. Community service hours are frequently offered.

Club M-Ed
Club M-Ed is dedicated to students in the Allied Health field who serve the community through volunteer efforts. Activities include a Big Brother Big Sister program, health-related tours, and community service.

Cooking Club
The College Cooking Club helps students recognize that there is an alternative way to eat rather than expensive and unhealthy takeout food. The club discusses thrifty ways to shop, where to shop and how to save money. The exciting part of being in the club is the cooking demonstrations, where members are able to participate in making and sampling different recipes and experience various types of cooking. The Cooking Club also participates in creative ways to show cooking skills learned to help the community.

Epsilon Tau Chi
Epsilon Tau Chi focuses primarily on outreach and giving back to the community. With multiple scheduled community service events unfolding every term, and many more ideas being realized, the club hopes to branch out after its efforts help establish its necessity through its positive and noble intents. The club seeks out the intellectual, loyal, open-minded, trustworthy, devoted and professional students to join the ranks of the brotherhood.

Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society
Gamma Beta Phi is an honor and service organization dedicated to recognizing and encouraging excellence in education, to promoting the development of leadership ability and character in its members, and to fostering, disseminating, and improving education through appropriate service projects. Membership is open by invitation to students who have completed 12 or more credits with a 3.0 GPA.

Knight Runners
The Knight Runners is a student initiative comprised of student, faculty, and staff interested in running as a hobby or for exercise. The Knight Runners meet usually two times per week to run predetermined routes and lengths. At the beginning of each term, each runner sets a goal for their one mile and three mile runs. During the term, fellow runners encourage each other to meet goals and finish runs as part of developing teamwork. Depending on schedules, the Knight Runners will participate in one or more local races such as 5K runs.

Knight Writers
Central Penn's Creative Writing Club, operating under the title of, "Knight Writers" is a club that focuses on intellectual and out-of-the-box expression. The Writing Club's goal is to produce creative pieces of original literary art in different forms including (but not confined to) poetry, prose, short stories, etc. Once produced, these works are shared (with the author's permission) with the group to be critiqued and to entertain. Ultimately, the club's goal is to provide Central Penn students with an outlet to express themselves in a business professional setting. With a focus on the therapeutic and holistic side of writing, the club encourages its members to look within themselves for their creative inspiration.

The Legal Studies Society is a club dedicated to promoting educational, networking, and community service opportunities for students participating in the Paralegal and Legal Studies programs.

AMA Marketing Club
Students interested in sales, advertising, marketing research, public relations, sales promotion, Internet marketing, or retailing careers are invited to join this exciting club. Members develop outstanding leadership, creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills by completing business and community service projects. The Marketing Club is a collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association.

The OTA Club is open to any student in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program. This club promotes the profession of occupational therapy to Central Penn College and the local community through education and service..

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Club
The PTA Club is open to any student in the Physical Therapist Assistant program. This club helps students build a sense of civic and social responsibility by participating in volunteer work on campus and in the community. The organization increases health awareness in local schools and visits nursing homes, hospitals, and daycare facilities. The club encourages study groups and offers tutoring assistance to fellow PTA students. Club members will have the opportunity to travel to conferences each year and participate in the American Physical Therapy Association.

The Rainbow Society
The Rainbow Society possesses the vision: "Creating a friendly, supportive, and educating campus for all people." Club attendance is not dependent upon self-identifying as gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex or ally. This group is open to all respectful individuals looking to learn from one another and support equality for all human beings.

Toastmasters
The Susquehanna Ice Breakers Toastmasters Club is an organization whose mission is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to improve his/her communication and leadership skills. This club is open to all Central Penn students, faculty, and staff as well as the surrounding community.

Central Penn is dedicated to providing access to Leadership Development for all students. A variety of offerings are available on a regular or short-term basis for students to become involved.
B.A.R.T. Program
The Building Academic Responsibility Together (B.A.R.T.) Program is a college support program for first year traditional students accepted to and enrolled in Central Penn College on academic probation. The program is designed to assist students with a smooth and successful transition to Central Penn and help them to establish habits that cause them to be successful. Students are exposed to facilitation from Central Penn staff on the following topics: successful use of technology, time management, study skills, how to use a syllabus and instructor addendum, getting involved, asking for help, plagiarism, credibility, community service, and financial literacy.

Circle K
The focus of Circle K international is to turn collegiate students into a group of socially responsible students. By focusing on bettering the community, helping youth, and keeping the environment we live in safe and clean; we are able to become better and more productive individuals in society. The skills and lessons we learn will enable us to become better citizens and inspire others to do so as well. In Circle K you will contribute to the society, but also participate in networking events that introduce you to other college students with similar ideals about life. We not only want to contribute to society, but also take care of each other! So when you join Circle K, you will have the chance to give back, learn new skills, and make some friends along the way!

Common Hour
Central Penn provides the unique opportunity for College students to develop leadership skills and to gain perspective on the various spiritual and cultural aspects of life through Common Hour events. On various Wednesdays from 12:10 to 1:10 p.m. a special presentation is available for the campus community each term. These events may range from well-known speakers to successful graduates, musicians, artists, and community leaders.
All students are encouraged to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to broaden their educational experience. The Common Hour schedule is noted in the calendar and will be widely publicized each term.
Peer Mediation
The Central Penn College Peer Mediation program provides training and mediation opportunities for students who wish to help resolve disputes involving students at Central Penn. An outgrowth of Central Penn's Alternative Dispute Resolution courses, this program is available to all students who meet minimum academic and disciplinary criteria. A brief training course certifying the student as a Central Penn Peer Mediator is required for participation.

Peer Mentoring
Central Penn College Peer Mentors are second and third year students who desire to make a difference on campus. Peer Mentors assist new students through the transition from high school to college and new students who are transferring to Central Penn from another institution. Peer Mentors provide assistance during move-in day, new student orientation and face-to-face meetings weekly. Peer Mentors meet the following qualifications: (1) be a full-time student in good academic and social standing, (2) have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher, (3) have attended Central Penn College for a minimum of three terms or earned 21 credits and (4) possess constructive involvement in the Central Penn College community like participation in clubs, cultural immersion or work study program.
