The library offers a variety of subscription databases available for use by all students, faculty and staff at Central Penn College. You can access these resources using the links provided below. If you need help using these databases or are having trouble accessing these resources, please contact a librarian for assistance.
If you are searching for books available at the library, please check the online library catalog. If you are looking for a book that is not available in the online library catalog, we may be able to borrow the book using interlibrary loan through Access Pennsylvania. Please check the Access PA statewide catalog for availability before submitting an interlibrary loan request.

Chronicle of Higher Education
Available from within Central Penn locations only, the Chronicle provides News, Opinions, Reviews, and Information in the area of higher education.
Credo Reference
A great place to start your research Credo provides 24/7 access to general reference works (dictionaries & encyclopedias) as well as charts and images. Among other tools there are thousands of topic pages to assist research by highlighting additional resources provided by the library.
Emerald’s HR, Learning & Organization Studies
This electronic journal collection contains over 20 journals covering the field from learning and development, performance management and measurement, organization studies and human resource management.Central Penn is considering adding this to our online resource offerings. Hoover's contains the best in business and economic intelligence, with company profiles and industry information.
The Leadership Quarterly
This journal covers the broad range of leadership topics and research worldwide. On-campus access only.
Opposing Viewpoints in Context
This database provides viewpoint essays, reference sources, statistics, magazine and newspaper articles, primary documents and recommended websites and images (when available) to present various sides of an issue.
OT Search
OT Search is a bibliographic database covering occupational therapy and related subject areas. It is jointly supported by the American Occupational Foundation (AOTF) and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). For off-campus access please contact the library.
Westlaw is the premiere online legal research service. It provides quick, easy access to a vast collection of statutes, case law materials, public records and other legal resources, along with current news articles and business information.
