Central Penn College Ranked #1 for Accelerated Classes in Pennsylvania

Central Penn College was rated as the “Best for Accelerated Classes” in Pennsylvania by Intelligent.com, an independent, advertising-free site that ranks colleges and programs throughout the country.

“We are delighted to receive this recognition,” said Dr. Krista Wolfe, vice president of Academic Affairs and provost at the college.

“As a career-focused institution, we know how critical it is for many of our students––both recent high school graduates and adult learners––to earn their degree as quickly as possible,” said Wolfe, who joined the college in 2006. “These students want to hit the ground running once they graduate, and we are here to help them do just that.”

Accelerated Schedule, Faster Results

Central Penn College operates on a year-round schedule of quarterly, 11-week terms. Students––who attend full-time each term––can earn a bachelor’s degree in just three years and an associate degree in 18 months, with an internship to follow.

“We are the only college or university in the capital region to offer students such an accelerated schedule,” said Wolfe, who is a practicing physical therapist. She serves on the Pennsylvania State Board of Physical Therapy.

In addition to accelerated classes, Central Penn College continues to launch new, short-term, certificate programs. Nearly all of them can be completed in as little as nine months.

“Whether it’s a degree or certificate program, our accelerated terms are designed for today’s busy adults who want to learn, lean in and make the leap to the next level,” said Wolfe.
