Central Penn College Partners with Montgomery County School for Career Education

Central Penn College is now partnering with Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN), in Willow Grove, Pa., giving EASTERN students the opportunity to take both in-person and online courses at Central Penn.

The dual enrollment agreement could save EASTERN students up to $1,000 in tuition costs per course, officials estimate. EASTERN programs that can benefit from this agreement include Allied Health, Business and Technology, Networking and Cybersecurity, and Protective Services.

“We are thrilled to offer our students another opportunity to save money on their college education,” said Mr. Joseph Greb, EASTERN’s Assistant Director. “Central Penn is a natural transition for so many of our students, and to be able to offer classes concurrently while attending EASTERN is a unique head start for those who qualify.”

EASTERN is a public school serving students in nine eastern Montgomery County school districts, including Abington, Hatboro-Horsham, Jenkintown, Lower Moreland, Upper Dublin and Upper Moreland.

“It is always gratifying to be able to give more students the benefit of our specialized career programs that boost their competitive edge in college or a career,” said Central Penn College President Linda Fedrizzi-Williams.  “Our reputation for helping students find jobs in their chosen field of study after graduation is definitely attracting attention and new students to our Summerdale campus and our convenient online programs.”

Central Penn College has been operating for more than 140 years, and was just nationally ranked by www.edumed.org  this week for its online Healthcare Management degree program. Its business programs have also achieved statewide recognition.
