A graduate of our A.S. in Paralegal Studies program, Cathleen has built an extraordinary career spanning over 36 years as a paralegal, earning accolades and making a significant impact in the legal field.
A Career of Excellence
Cathleen has served as a Senior Paralegal specializing in insurance defense litigation. Her extensive expertise includes handling complex cases involving civil rights, municipal liability, labor and employment, automobile liability, premises liability, and professional liability. Beyond her legal acumen, Cathleen has managed paralegal teams for significant civil rights class action lawsuits filed in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, showcasing her leadership and organizational skills.
Recognized for Outstanding Contributions
Cathleen’s commitment to excellence and service has earned her numerous prestigious recognitions:
- 2004 Pro Bono Award from the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc. (NFPA) for outstanding dedication to pro bono service.
- Pennsylvania Certified Paralegal Credential awarded by the Keystone Alliance of Paralegal Associations in 2010.
- Registered Paralegal (RP) Designation from the NFPA in 2015.
- 2022 CPPA Pro Bono Award for her continued service and dedication to pro bono work in her local community.

Cathleen has been a steadfast member of the Central Pennsylvania Paralegal Association (CPPA) since 1992. Over the years, she has held numerous leadership positions on the CPPA Board of Directors, currently serving as Member-at-Large and PACE Committee Chair, while also representing CPPA as NFPA Secondary Representative. Her contributions to the Dauphin County Bar Association Public Service Committee and the DCBA Law Day Committee over two decades further highlight her dedication to community engagement and public service.
