Central Penn College will screen the award-winning movie BlacKkKlansmen at the Capital BlueCross Theater on Friday, Jan. 24. Directed by Spike Lee, the film details the undercover work of African-American police officer Ron Stallworth to infiltrate the Ku Klux Klan in Colorado starting in the late 1970s. BlacKkKlansmen is part of the college’s quarterly Faculty Film Series. The movie stars John David Washington, Adam Driver, Laura Harrier and Topher Grace.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Professor Jared Rife will give a talk on the movie prior to the 7 p.m. start time. The event is free and open to the public.
