Central Penn College Men’s Basketball Ranked #4 Nationally
The 9–3 Central Penn men’s basketball team is currently ranked #4 in the USCAA D2 conference, according to the latest coaches’ poll.
With the 2019–2020 season nearing the halfway point, Central Penn’s five starters all are currently averaging more 10 points per game:
- Marqel Wansley – 17.2
- Noah Baylor – 15.2
- Ryan Lawrence – 15.1
- Tyler White – 12.5
- Deon Tabb – 10.7
Starting with Thursday night’s game against Misericordia, the Knights play their next nine games on the road. Fortunately, this “road trip” began auspiciously with a blowout win over the host Cougars.
During this month-long stint, the Knights will face a variety of opponents, including conference rivals Bryant & Stratton (Rochester), Bryant & Stratton (Syracuse) and Penn State Brandywine.
Central Penn finally returns home on Saturday, Feb. 8, to face their third team from the Bryant & Stratton universe––this time it’s the squad from Albany.
