Jasmine Robinson Hill joins the Central Penn College Coaching Staff

Former standout Jasmine Robinson Hill has been named as assistant coach to the Central Penn College women’s basketball team. Originally from Bethlehem, Pa., Robinson set the all-time scoring record for the Summerdale hoopsters, amassing more than 2,000 points over four seasons, from 2010 to 2014.

“I am looking forward to being back at Central Penn and helping the next generation of Lady Knights raise their game,” said Hill, who works as a job developer for Keystone Autism Services in Harrisburg.

She graduated from CPC in 2014 with a GPA of 3.4 and a bachelor’s degree in corporate communications. Hill was active in student government and served as president during the 2013–2014 academic year.

“Jasmine was one of our most successful student-athletes, both on and off the court,” said Athletic Director Kasey Hicks. “She brings a lot of basketball knowledge and insights that will help her student-athletes succeed on the court and in the classroom.”

Trailblazer

Hill was the first Central Penn player on either the women’s or men’s team to crack the 2,000-point threshold. A three-time first-team USCAA All-American, Hill averaged 29.4 points in her last season for the Lady Knights.

Hill will assist new head coach Erin Miller, as the Lady Knights hope to build on last season’s 15–4 record.

“Many of the tools for excelling on the court are exactly the same for excelling in the classroom––focus, commitment and follow-through,” said Hill. “Only by pushing yourself can you reach your highest potential.”
