Whether your “tree” entails a brilliant new service, product or program, or you are aiming to achieve a larger mission, you need to tell your corner of the world in order to foster awareness, generate revenue, and build momentum. Without marketing, your breakthrough could fall through. A marketing concentration will teach you the most powerful ways to tell the story of your vision with heart and reach, for maximum effect.
With a marketing concentration in business, you will learn how to develop an effective –and cost-effective–marketing campaign, and decide on the strategies that will resonate with readers, viewers, future clients and donors. You will learn about multi-media communications, whether on TV, radio, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, traditional newspapers, magazines or other avenues. You can learn copywriting, advertising buys, media relations, the art of persuasion, and more to issue a call to action that yields results.
With a concentration in marketing, students who know how to inform, educate and inspire in clear and captivating ways can find fun and exciting careers as a sales representative, marketing research analyst, advertising coordinator, public relations specialist, marketing manager, marketing communications specialist, and more.
