In December 2018, Kristal Turner-Childs was promoted to major and named as the director of the 300-person Bureau of Forensic Services, one of the largest departments in the Pennsylvania State Police.

Continuing education student, Charlie Hughley received the Veteran Leadership Award at commencement. A distinguished member of the U. S. Navy, he works as a program manager at the Defense Logistics Agency in New Cumberland.

Morgan Wylie is investing in herself, her family and her future. She’s a working mother who attends evening classes at Central Penn College, as she pursues her master’s degree.

“My career path since graduation can be described, in one word, fast,” says Chris Adams, who graduated in May with a medical assisting (MA) degree. “When I starting applying to MA jobs, I was asked for an interview very quickly and hired just as fast.”

Chris Norkus has been named Central Penn College’s new head women’s basketball coach. He replaces long-time coach Kasey Hicks who was recently promoted to athletic director at the college.

Giant Food Stores is the latest local company to partner with Central Penn College. Their employees are now eligible to receive a $1,000 scholarship to attend Central Penn College. Giant also provides $5,250 a year in tuition reimbursement to 8,856 eligible full-time associates across the state.

Central Penn College has announced it’s Student Athletes of the Month for October 2019. Soccer players Soufiane Issofou and Aleena Griffith have been selected by their respective teams.
