Presented by the Musical Knights Club, the quarterly CPC Film Series will screen Dirty Dancing on Friday, August 5 at the Capital Blue Cross Theatre. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Dean of Student Engagement, Adrienne Thoman will introduce the 1987 American romantic drama dance film written by Eleanor Bergstein, produced by Linda Gottlieb, and directed by Emile Ardolino. Starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, it tells the story of “Baby” Frances Houseman, a young woman who falls in love with dance instructor Johnny Castle (Swayze) at a vacation resort.
