Ann Hoffman, RDH, PHDHP

I would like for my students to learn something new every day, and how to apply it to their future career goals. The medical field is ever changing, which is why when they graduate, I hope I have excited them to want to continue to learn and share their knowledge. I want for the students to have confidence and skills to begin their career, want to continue to learn, and how to find answers to challenges they will face. I like to reflect on my personal experiences, I think having real life scenarios to share with students can allow me to be more relatable and help better explain difficult concepts.

Grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania, worked in a variety of positions in the dental field over the years to then graduate from Luzerne County Community College as a registered dental hygienist in 2004. Excited to share my passion for the dental health career with students. Outside of work, I enjoy spending my time with my husband and our 3 children.
