Teaching Philosophy
I believe that students should be prepared for the workforce through both academic rigor and support. Retention of learning requires the application of theory (scholarship) into practice (practitioner). It is also crucial to research curriculum and current topics as a means to make course work relevant to what students will encounter in the workforce.
Bio
Dr. Cattermole (Dr. C) possesses over 22 years of experience teaching online and on campus at various colleges and universities before joining Central Penn College full time. He also has substantial experience designing courses, developing custom e-texts and mentoring faculty. He resides in Central Pennsylvania and enjoys traveling, watching hockey, playing disc golf and cooking.
