I believe that my goal as a teacher is to create a learning environment that will help students in both their professional careers and their everyday lives. I strive to create a safe space for learning and to make the educational experience a fun one. I am dedicated to becoming a more effective educator and love to learn myself. I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high professional expectations to the classroom each day in hopes that I can ultimately inspire and encourage my students to do the same.

Hello! My name is Alexis Delaughter and I am a dental program lecturer here at Central Penn College. I am an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) and a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) with specialized certificates in infection control. I've been in the dental field for 10 years and love everything about the profession. I currently reside in Dover, PA along with my husband and four children. We also have 5 chickens and 2 ducks as our family pets! In my spare time, I run a newborn photography business out of my photo studio in my backyard!
