Teaching Philosophy
Teaching is a science, a craft, an art and a profession, all intertwined. I try to approach each Class anew, keeping the subject matter alive, fresh and thrilling, or, at the vey least, engaging, while, making sure to focus on delivering the content of each course in a direct and sincere way, both helpful and understandable. Whether highly practical or more theoretical, I incorporate real life scenarios with a sprinkling of legal history and policy mixed in, and I strive to teach my Courses in a manner whereby the student, you, will retain the essential points, the "takeaways" long after the Class closes. There is a good bit of work in my Courses, but I provide time for contemplation, time for the work, remain flexible and I am always accessible. In short, simply bring a positive attitude, focus, along with your ideas and experiences and an high level of engagement and you will fit right in!
