Central Penn College Celebrates Academic and Athletic Excellence on the Court!

At Central Penn College, we’re incredibly proud of our student-athletes who consistently demonstrate excellence both in the classroom and on the basketball court. This season has been particularly remarkable, with several of our Knights receiving prestigious honors from the U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) and the Eastern States Athletic Conference (ESAC).

Academic Achievement Takes Center Stage

We firmly believe in our “student-first” philosophy, and that commitment is evident in the accomplishments of our athletes. We’re thrilled to announce that two exceptional members of our women’s basketball team, Allison Yoder of Perry County and Sidney Green of Maryland, have been named to the USCAA All-Academic Team! This prestigious honor is awarded to student-athletes who maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher, a testament to their dedication to balancing rigorous academic coursework with the demands of collegiate athletics. Congratulations, Allison and Sidney, for your outstanding academic achievements!

Knights Shine on the Court!

Beyond their academic prowess, our Knights have also made significant strides on the basketball court, showcasing their exceptional talent and dedication. We’re excited to celebrate the following players for their outstanding performances:

ESAC First-Team All-Conference

• Allison Yoder (women’s basketball) of Perry County

ESAC Second-Team All-Conference

• Dahsan King (men’s basketball) of Connecticut.
• Nyree Roberson-Waters (women’s basketball) of Harrisburg.
• Jayla Pearson (women’s basketball) of Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Allison Yoder’s impressive performance, averaging 12.3 points and 7.7 rebounds per game, solidified her place as a leader on the women’s team. Dahsan King’s scoring prowess, averaging 17.7 points per game, highlighted his crucial role in the men’s team’s success. Nyree Roberson-Waters and Jayla Pearson also played vital roles, contributing significantly to scoring, defense, and team leadership.
