Central Penn College Esports Secures Second Rocket League Division Championship

Central Penn College’s Esports Rocket League team has once again proven their competitive prowess, capturing their second Division championship title in program history. The team, composed of standout players Logan Kibler, Sam Royer, and Connor Staub, clinched the championship with a thrilling overtime victory against Bluffton University (Ohio) in the Playfly Division finals.

Under the leadership of coaches Donnie Lewis and Jon Saurman, the team showcased determination, skill, and growth throughout the Spring season, finishing with an impressive 7-1 record. Their only loss during the regular season came at the hands of Bluffton, making their hard-fought redemption in the championship game even more meaningful.

“This group has poured so much time and energy into the program,” said coach Donnie Lewis. “It’s amazing to see it all come together in a moment like this. They earned it.”

Athletic Director Kasey Hicks echoed the pride felt across campus. “I’m proud of our student-athletes and our coaching staff. Their commitment to the program and each other is what makes this championship so special. This victory shows that hard work and dedication on any level can pay off in big ways.”

As the Esports program continues to grow, Central Penn College celebrates this milestone as another sign of a bright future for its student-athletes. Congratulations to Logan, Sam, Connor, and the entire Central Penn Esports program on this outstanding achievement!
