Earn an Information Technology Certificate In Just 9 Months
“Information Technology (IT) is the engine that drives today’s digital economy, and the new Information Technology Certificate in Applications Development is a great way to get your foot in the door of this vital industry,” said Joseph Oberto, IT Instructor at Central Penn College.
Starting in the fall term, students can earn a certificate in Applications Development in just nine months. Jobs related to applications development are expected to increase 22% through 2029, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
This 18-credit, fully online program provides students––who are looking to enter the burgeoning IT field––an effective pathway for starting a career in information technology.
“This is a hands-on program where you learn by doing,” said Oberto. “And the best way to learn Applications Development is by actually developing applications.”
The credits earned in this program also can be applied to degree programs in Computer Information Systems and Information Technology offered by the college.
