Hello Everyone,
I am sure moving to remote work today was a new experience for many of you. Please remember that the IT team is here to assist. Please contact the helpdesk via email at helpdesk@centralpenn.edu and let us know how we can help. You may also call (866) 291-HELP and leave a message if no one is available. We have some updates about the changes since my last email.
- The password change policy has been extended 90 days for staff and faculty. This extension will add three months to your password expiration date, so you will not need to change it while we are working remotely.
- The Mitel Connect app is available for your computer and mobile device. This app will allow you to make calls “from your desk” Please contact helpdesk for assistance setting it up
- The in-person workshops for faculty on or Screencast-O-Matic, Collaborate, and VoiceThread are canceled. Kim will be providing recordings and other resources, along with office hours via Collaborate. Kim will be sending additional information to faculty about this opportunity.
- The Microsoft Teams meetings have moved online. The new session times are below. Please sign-up for any of the sessions with this form: Teams Workshops Registration. We need to know who will be attending so we can add you to the “Training Team”
